Accessibility statement for the Drone Service

Traficom strives to guarantee the accessibility of their e-services in compliance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019). This accessibility statement concerns the Drone service.

Website accessibility status

The service is partially compliant with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. Failure to comply with the requirements is mentioned below.

The content below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

The following content and/or functionalities do not yet meet the requirements:

Visuality

  • All pages do not scale readably to the screen that is 320 CSS pixels wide. (WCAG 1.4.10)
  • Some of the links are not visible enough in the body text. (WCAG 1.4.1, 3.2.4)

Structure

  • Title markings and structure have some flaws. (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.6)
  • The HTML code has some errors. (WCAG 4.1.1)

Navigation

  • The service is a so-called one-page application in which the screen reader user does not receive information about the transition to a new screen and changes in content. The focus also does not move to the start of new content. (WCAG 2.4.3, 4.1.3)
  • Choosing a language can be challenging with the help of a screen reader, as the language menu is named only in Finnish and texts in other languages are read in Finnish. (WCAG 3.1.2, 4.1.2) 
  • The programmatic name of the menu button is not unambiguous. (WCAG 4.1.2)
  • Not all navigation elements have been programmatically marked. (WCAG 2.4.1)
  • The user is not always told beforehand if a link opens in a new window. (WCAG 2.4.4)
  • The service has several pages that can only be accessed by one route through the front page. (WCAG 2.4.5)

 Form elements

  • Not all form groups have been marked programmatically or named. (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.6)
  • The name tags of form elements are not descriptive in all respects. (WCAG 2.4.6, 3.3.2)
  • The error messages of form elements are not always descriptive. (WCAG 1.3.3, 3.3.3)
  • Fields requesting user information do not support automatic fill. (WCAG 1.3.5)
  • Markings of mandatory fields have flaws. (WCAG 3.3.2)
